New Centre
Popeth Cymraeg/Welsh Unlimited will soon be opening our second language centre. This centre will be at the Old Tannery, Llanrwst
The late David Jones, one of the main founders of Popeth Cymraeg would be so glad that our second centre is to be opened in his home town. Perhaps the whole building will not be used straight away but we do hope to develop it as a centre for residential courses as well as holding our regular weekly courses and block courses there. We hope to move in soon and we will bearranging courses there from September 2009. Local residents will also be glad to hear that the restaurant which shares the building with us will also be opening under new management soon.

We are in the process of developing a new dynamic website. The site has been designed and created internally by staff and directors of Popeth Cymraeg under the leadership of our Webmasters Dyfrig Berry, Chair of the Board of Directors, and Howard Edwards, our tutor organiser in Llanrwst.
IN August 2008 one of our main founders lost his fight against cancer. 67 year old David E. Jones will be sadly missed by his wife Vesi, his daughter Awena, who is married and lives in Brazil, and his son, Deian, who lives in Australia.
